The Bowflex BXT116 Treadmill has a 3.75 CHP motor to ensure smooth action and quiet performance, users have reported that the treadmill makes virtually no noise.
The 20″ x 60″ running belt is designed to be extra wide and simulates running on the open road, combined with BowFlex’s ComfortTech technology that is the gold standard for impact absorption and ensures a softer and smoother action with every step.
It has a fully integrated calorie-focus burn rate console that displays calories burned per minute, which helps to motivate you and push you further and for longer during your workout.
The digital display is a full color, 7.5″ backlit LCD screen with 9 basic push and go, intuitive workout programs that are great when you just want to jump on the treadmill and start working out straight away.
The user can also create and save workouts at the drop of a hat with real-time custom programming.
The Bowflex BXT116 Treadmill benefits from integrated controls that are incredibly easy to navigate with its soft and responsive gel buttons that are just a touch away.
With a 12 MPH maximum speed limit and a 15% incline range, you can be sure that you will be able to push yourself to the limit, this is great for those who wish to maximize their workout potential and break the mold.
For those who need that extra bit of motivation, a subscription to the Bowflex JRNY app allows the user to have in workout coaching and fitness tips that will help keep them on track to their fitness goals.
A contact and telemetry enabled chest strap is included with the treadmill so you can track and monitor your personal health data such as heart rate, etc.
This treadmill can also fold away due to its ergonomic design so is perfect for those with a lack of space and need to store it away.
Some users have unfortunately reported some faults with the Bowflex BXT116 Treadmill, such as the treadmill speeding up or slowing down without any warning.
Some users have also reported that the treadmill has cut out mid-use, which is very concerning.
But by and large, these faults seem to be limited to very few machines and most users have reported great performance from their Bowflex BXT116 Treadmill.
It seems these faults are rare, and the Bowflex BXT116 Treadmill appears to be a very good treadmill, and wouldn’t be out of place in anyone’s home gym.
There is some assembly required although a lot of people who have set this treadmill up have said it is easy to do so and fairly straight forward.

So would I recommend the Bowflex BXT116 Treadmill?
Yes, I would certainly recommend this treadmill.
Although some users reported some safety issues which are concerning they appear to be far and few between.
This treadmill provides its user with a fully integrated digital display and customizable daily workout programs that provide in workout coaching and personalized feedback.
Add that onto the quiet motor and smooth action, this makes it a great treadmill for any home gym.
It is for the reasons above I would recommend this treadmill to those of you looking to add a new treadmill to your home gym.
