Capita Outerspace Living Snowboard Product Review

The Capita Outerspace Living Snowboard is an excellent option if you require an intermediate to advanced level snowboard.

Capita has included a radial sidecut design that allows the board to start and finish a turn on the same arc.

Manufacturers Capita have given the snowboard an excellent lightweight design, which we think is attractive. The board itself weighs just over 7lbs.

However, some users have reported that this board isn’t one of the faster choices in this category.

The core of the board is made up of FSC certified dual core poppy lightweight poplar with beech for increased power and durability.

A rocker type board is used for this product, and this shape gives you a hard-carving edgehold on firm snow.

Providing the board with greater turnability and float in powder due to its rockered tip and tail. This design is better suited to soft snow.

Unfortunately, this board does not have much flexibility in where it can be used. It’s best suited to freestyle and all-mountain terrain.

However, this board has won multiple awards, including the Transworld Snowboarding Good Wood and Snowboard Magazine Platinum Pick awards.

The manufacturer’s Capita have been on the scene since 2000 and boast their own production facility in Austria, otherwise known as ‘the Mothership.’

Summary

Overall, if you are looking for an impressive snowboard that will deliver exceptional performance over the entire mountain, then the Capita Outerspace Living Snowboard is an excellent choice.
