DJ Fat Bike Electric Bike Product Review

isThe DJ Fat Electric Bike is a more luxurious electric bike option, but this is replicated in the price of the electric bike.

You’ll be expected to pay a premium price to secure the services of this bike, but is it worth the dollars?

The first point we’d like to make about this bike is how highly the bike is rated by its users, and we rate this product at five stars, which is the highest we can go!

Price is reflected in the battery of this model. A 48V 13Ah lithium battery is included with this electric bike. This more powerful than many other electric models on the market.

A 750W motor is powered by the battery, which results in a top speed of 20mph, this is the legal speed limit that this bike is restricted to. The bike is capable of exceeding this figure, but rules are rules.

Nothing is stopping you from surpassing this figure manually though, by using one of the various riding modes you can achieve this. This electric bike features the following riding modes:

– Electric mode
– Electric-assist mode
– Manual mode (pedaling)

In terms of range, this electric bike will achieve anywhere between 30 and 50 miles, dependent on what ride mode is active. However, you may want to consider several factors which may influence your experience:

– Tire pressure
– Terrain
– Incline/decline
– Rider weight
– Wind speed

The bike itself weighs 57lbs, which is slightly on the heavy side. However, when you consider it is one of the larger models and features thick tires, this isn’t too surprising.

26-inch tires and an aluminum frame help make up the body of the electric bike. Also featured are the following:

– Tektro disc brakes
– Mozo suspension
– Kenda tires
– Shimano gears

It is important to note that the 26-inch frame may be too high for some users; because of this, we would advise people under 5”3 to possibly look for an alternative bike. The seat is adjustable.

Canadian DJ Bikes manufacturers understand that this bike is quite an investment, so offer a generous one-year guarantee just in case you aren’t 100% happy with this product.

Summary

Overall, we think this electric bike is an excellent choice, and the features equipped to it do help justify the price.

DJ Bikes have done an excellent job by designing a premium electric bike, but the price tag will undoubtedly put several potential buyers off.
