Introduction

Kayaks have been used for thousands of years, but only recently have inflatable kayaks surged on to the market.

Their compact nature makes them much more practical than traditional hard shell kayaks.

They also tend to be a cheaper option than their hard shell counterparts and endure a similar level of stability once in the water.

Additionally, the durability of inflatable rafts has improved continuously over the years, to a point where they can almost compete with hard shell kayaks.

Inflatable kayaks are so sturdy now that they can be used for fishing or even white water rafting!

Today at Top Review Zone we’ll be taking a look at the Driftsun Rover Tandem Inflatable Kayak, let’s get straight into the review and see what this product is all about!

Driftsun Rover Tandem Inflatable Kayak Product Review

The Driftsun Rover Tandem Inflatable Kayak is an excellent choice if you require a high-quality inflatable kayak and have a mid-range budget.

The price is higher than other comparable models; however, this inflatable kayak is rugged enough for white water kayaking, so it does represent a savvy investment.

Our favorite feature of this inflatable kayak is the durable material used in its build. 1000D reinforced PVC side tubes add real durability to the kayak.

This should ensure maximum protection to the kayak, allowing it to bounce off rocks, logs, and any other white water obstacles that may obstruct your route.

Additionally, the tough floor of the kayak should ensure that scrapes over rocks don’t lead to punctures.

However, the product doesn’t come with a puncture repair kit, which is disappointing considering it is aimed at white water kayaking.

With a max weight of 300lbs, the inflatable kayak can comfortably hold one person and additional equipment.

The inflation time is six minutes, which is pretty average among inflatable kayaks.

The three-chamber design gives the kayak greater stability, and improved buoyancy should the kayak succumb to a puncture.

The kayak comes in a small bag for easy maneuverability and at 22lbs isn’t too heavy to carry around compared to other inflatable kayaks.

Summary

Overall this is an excellent choice if you require a reasonably priced inflatable kayak from a company that is well respected in this industry.

This product will be a perfect addition if you require a kayak for one person.

We also give this product a five-star rating, so it’s popular with consumers!
