Marcy Multifunction Steel Home Gym Product Review

Marcy Multifunction Steel Home Gym

The Marcy Multifunction Home Gym is a well built comprehensive multi-gym, it utilizes 150lbs of stacked weight plates connected to a series of coated steel wires(pulley system) which enables smooth movement and a large variety of exercises.

Product Specifications:

  • Weight Stack: 150 lbs
  • Product Dimensions: 68″l x 36″w x 79″h
  • Max User Weight: 300lbs

So why is the Marcy Multifunction Steel Home Gym so versatile?

The Marcy Multifunction Gym contains a removable preacher curl attachment so you can isolate the biceps for them grueling arm workouts, as well as a dual-function press arm, so you can perform exercises such as chest press and chest flys.

The arm press is coated with comfortable foam rollers so you can perform flys without the steel pressing directing into your arms.

The Leg developer attachment is also coated in foam rollers to ensure a smooth and comfortable workout that won’t damage or hurt your shins.

The leg developer also helps develop strong, well-built legs and enables the user to have a fully comprehensive workout and enhance maximum potential.

But it doesn’t stop there, the Marcy Multifunction Steel Home Gym also has a lat pulldown bar, so you can include back in your workout.

With the Marcy Multifunction Steel Home Gym, you can be sure that you easily be able to perform a full-body workout.

To help you with this Marcy has also included a workout chart to help you develop your workout routine and show you how to perform exercises correctly.

The 150lbs stack of weights makes this a great starter multi-gym and will help new gym weight lifters develop their form and build strength, one downside is you may need to upgrade once you have developed a good strength base.

The Marcy Multifunction Steel Home Gym is very reasonably priced and you would have a hard job trying to find a better multi-gym in this price range.

Another downside is as with most multi gyms the Marcy Multifunction Steel Home Gym requires assembly and this can be complicated, users reported that the instructions weren’t very easy to understand and it took anywhere from 3 hours upwards to assemble.

Summary

So, would I recommend the Marcy Multifunction Steel Home Gym?

Yes, I probably would recommend this particular multi gym especially for those that are new to working out, it can be used for a full-body workout and the 150lbs is a good starting weight range for most people.

Assembling the Marcy Multifunction Steel Home Gym can be tricky but with a bit of elbow grease and perseverance, you’ll have yourself a comprehensive multi-gym that you can use to begin your fitness journey.
