OT QOMOTOP Camping Tent Product Review

The OT QOMOTOP Camping Tent has a fast setup design, therefore you won’t need to worry about your potential lack of wilderness experience.

The freestanding design means that it doesn’t need to be staked to the ground, which means you don’t have to worry about hammering into difficult terrains.

This tent stands at 8×8 ft with a ceiling of 4 ft 11 inches, which makes the OT QOMOTOP Camping Tent a relatively small model.

The manufacturer claims that this tent can sleep up to four people, however, this might be a little cramped. We recommend this model being a better option for three people using sleeping pads or two people with queen-sized air beds.

The built-in rainfly has a tiedown design that will hold up against light to moderate rainfall. The tiedown design means that if you want to see the stars at night through the mesh panels in the ceiling, you’ll have to head outside and untie it.

There are three medium-sized mesh window panels that are closable via a zippered panel, or they can be left open to allow fresh air in.

Although the windows are small, they’re big enough to encourage air circulation which is perfect for evening snoozes.

There’s a built-in electrical port that provides quick electrical cord access, this is closable while not in use.

Although this is advertised as a freestanding model, the OT QOMOTOP Camping Tent comes with stakes which increases the tent’s overall stability.

This makes all of the difference when it comes to high-wind conditions!

There’s no information about the weatherproof rating, however, the OT QOMOTOP Camping Tent has inner seams that are sealed using PU tape.

For increased durability, OT QOMOTOP has a PE tub floor that’s complete with welded corners which prevent damage to the floor that’s caused by sharp objects and cots.

Summary

The OT QOMOTOP Camping Tent is a spacious tent that has room for one queen-sized airbed and other camping gear!

The mesh roof and ground vent guarantee greater ventilation compared to other similar tents and this also ensures that no water droplets condense inside the tent overnight.

Although the manufacturer recommends having two people to set the tent up, you won’t have too much of a hard time if you need to set up alone.

Lastly, the PU taping on both the rainfly and inner tent seam plus the PE Tube floor with welded corners keep the inside of the tent dry during heavy rain.
