The XTERRA Fitness TR150 Folding Treadmill is a budget treadmill designed for home use, you can see this from the features it possesses.
Such as it’s smaller than average running track/surface, or its ability to fold away and be stored to save on much-valued floor space.
Although this treadmill isn’t designed to high-end specifications it still contains a variety of features you would expect from any good quality treadmill such as a good range of speed settings, pre-programmed workouts, EKG heart rate sensors and the ability to adjust the incline settings.

The XTERRA Fitness TR150 Folding Treadmill is a budget-friendly treadmill option for those who wish to exercise at home but don’t want to fork out a lot of cash to do so.
What the XTERRA Fitness TR150 Folding Treadmill lacks in high-end specifications it makes up for in its ergonomic and small design.
This treadmill is designed so that it can be folded up and stored away, the legs at one end of the treadmill allows it to be safely stored on its end whilst it is folded, which further increases its space-saving qualities.
The Tread on this treadmill is slightly smaller than the average treadmill, this quality is both a pro and a con, the smaller size means there is less of a surface to run on which can alter gait and for some affect performance, but the small size also means that this treadmill takes up a lot less space.
With a speed range of 0.5 – 10 MPH the XTERRA Fitness TR150 Folding Treadmill has a pretty decent speed range, some high-end models can max out at 12 MPH+, but be assured the 10 MPH max speed limit is more than fast enough for the average user.
You can alter the elevation of this treadmill to 3 positions, which enables the user to simulate real-life variations of terrain similar to that you may find running on the road.
With 12 pre-programmed workouts, those who use the XTERRA Fitness TR150 Folding Treadmill can maximize their performance and mix up their routine.
This budget-friendly treadmill also contains EKG sensors on the handrails, these track the user’s heartbeat which in turn allows them to target different heart rate zones, and more efficiently adapt their workout to meet their body’s needs.
The XTERRA Fitness TR150 Folding Treadmill also has a 5 Inch LCD screen perfect for tracking useful data such as heart rate, distance, calories burned, speed and elevation settings.
The 2.25 HP motor has been reported to run very quietly and some users say the noise from it is barely even noticeable, this means it is a great option for those who like to listen to music or watch tv as they run.
The XTRASoft cushioned deck technology provides multiple points of cushioning through the treadmill which can maximize the potential impact of running sessions and prolong the shelf life of the treadmill and the user’s knees.
Unfortunately, the XTERRA Fitness TR150 Folding Treadmill only has a maximum user weight of 250lbs, so it may exclude some larger user’s from using this product.
Some assembly is required although those who have set this machine up report that it is fairly straight-forward.
So, would I recommend the XTERRA Fitness TR150 Folding Treadmill?
Yes, I would recommend this treadmill as a great beginner option for those who may be on a budget and for those who need to save space in their home.
I would also only recommend the XTERRA Fitness TR150 Folding Treadmill for user’s who are on the lighter side as this treadmill only has a maximum limit of 250lb.
This treadmill is basic but it gets the job done which is the most important factor, and I am sure it would make a great addition to anyone’s home gym who may be on a restricted budget.
